Outsourced accounting in Guyana
Outsourced accounting is the finance work a small business hands to Oma Solutions instead of hiring a full-time accounts team. The work is for businesses in Georgetown and across Guyana.
A typical month is the ledger, the bank reconciliation, management accounts, and payroll when you include it. Year-end statements and the audit file are agreed separately. We do not sign an audit opinion.
What you receive
- The monthly general ledger and bank reconciliation
- Management accounts for the month
- Payroll for the employees in scope, when payroll is included
- A note of what is still needed before the year-end close
How the work proceeds
- We agree which parts of the month we will run.
- You send invoices, receipts, and bank records on the agreed day.
- We post the ledger, reconcile the bank, and prepare the pack.
- We review the month with you and carry open items forward.

Questions
Is outsourced accounting the same as a statutory audit?
Outsourced accounting keeps and reports the records. A statutory audit is an independent opinion, signed by the auditor.
Can the scope be only bookkeeping?
Yes. Bookkeeping, management accounts, and payroll can each be included or left out. The quotation names which ones are in.
